Hammontree & Associates, Limited was hired by Cleveland Metroparks to provide topographic surveys for the Mill Creek Connector Trail Phase Two proposed trail extension. The proposed multi-use trail extension started at Bacci Park and extended 5000 feet cross country to the city of Garfield Heights. The survey included a topographic survey and cross sections of 50 feet intervals, 75 feet either side of the proposed centerline of trail and staking the proposed centerline of the trail at all angle points a maximum of 100 foot spacing.
H & A prepared all AutoCAD existing conditions base map to be used in the design of the proposed trail. The survey was performed using GPS and conventional survey equipment and also located 28 soil borings that had been drilled along the trail.
