Key Highlights:
- Project County: Belmont
- Project Summary: Hammontree was able to provide 100 homeowners, many with contaminated wells, to be connected to safe drinking water.

Hammontree & Associates was hired as part of Belmont County’s continuing waterline extension projects. This project included approximately 56,000 feet of 8-inch and 6-inch waterline, valves, hydrants, and service connections for a portion of Mt. Victory Road. Approximately 100 homeowners (many with contaminated wells) will now be connected to safe drinking water.
The project received funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). We prepared the construction plans, planning documentation and application paperwork on a fast-track schedule to receive the ARRA funding from Ohio EPA. We performed the bidding services and submitted information to Ohio EPA to obtain a quick award of the ARRA funds. We performed construction administration services (shop drawing review, construction meetings, processing change orders and pay requests and preparing record drawings). We also provided full-time resident representation to observe the construction of the project. Engineering fee was $260,000.
