Hammontree was hired by MWCD to evaluate alternatives to improve its lagoon WWTP that discharges into Seneca Lake. After acceptance of the evaluation, we designed improvements which were needed to meet discharge requirements by the Ohio EPA. Improvements included two pump stations, influent metering, influent grinder, aeration and baffles for the lagoons, phosphorus removal tanks, tertiary filters and ultraviolet disinfection.
